To assist the Director, Naval Surface Warfare Office (N86) of the Chief of Naval Operations in the identification of concepts that should be highly considered for inclusion in the FY00 Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD) Program, PEO(TAD) and PEO SC/AP will evaluate government, industry, and joint government/industry concepts that address the following PEO(TAD) and PEO SC/AP top technology needs. The specific PEO(TAD) and PEO SC/AP top technology needs are specifically enumerated below. FY00 ATD Concept Paper Briefing Schedule: To assure that each concept addressing a PEO( TAD)/ PEO SC/AP need is properly focused, industry and prospetive proposers are strongly encouraged to participate in the PEO(TAD) and PEO SC/AP ATD process. To facilitate this, prospective proposers will have the opportunity to ask questions concerning the PEO(TAD) and PEO SC/AP technology needs articulated within and/or questions concerning the overall FY00 ATD Process and its associated requirements. Questions can be submitted up until COB 25 July or they can be held until Industry Day. Pre-Industry Day questions should be directed via e-mail to either newman_edwin@hq.navsea.navy.mil for PEO TAD specific inquiries or triola_larry@hq.navsea.navy.mil for PEO SC/AP specific inquiries. These questions will be answered during an unclassified Industry Day which is scheduled for 31 July 1997, from 0900 -- 1630, at the JHU/APL Parsons Auditorium, Building 1 -- The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Johns Hopkins Road, Laurel, MD 20723-6099.
