The contractor shall provide HLA, A, B, CW, DR and DQ typings using standard serological techniques. The contractor shall also provide Molecular Class I & II. All of these typing services shall be available five (5) days a week (Monday -- Friday). The tests shall be performed then reported on the NIH Report Form, and sent by facsimile within (2) two working days, with a hard copy sent by mail carrier that shall be received at NIH within seven (7) working days after receipt of the test sample. The total number of tests including all three categories will not exceed 4,000. It is anticipated that the award will be made as a modification to an existing contract N02-CL-40007 with the Regents of the University of California, Contract and Grant Administration, 405 Hilgard Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024. For consistency of ongoing tests UCLA (Regents of the University of California) is the intended source for award of these proposed tests. See Numbered Note(s): 22. (0212)
