R -- MODIFICATION TO THE PURCHASE ORDER FOR UPDATED REPORT OF VICTIMS OF CRIME POC Raymond C. German, Contracting Officer, (202) 307-0613 The Office of Justice Programs intends to modify on a sole source basis Purchase Order# OJP-97-015-M, entitled "The 1982 Final Report of the President's Task Force on Victims of Crime," with CJ and Victims Services, 1738 Hobart Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20009. The modification will incorporate additional task that are required to complete the updates to the original report. The contractor has been intimately involved in the writing, editing, and supplemental research and its knowledge of the subject area is now richly complemented by their clear understanding of the aim of the National Agenda, the challenges and limitations faced in preparing a publication of this nature, and the goals of the OVC Director in completing this important project. It would be neither cost-effective nor efficient for the Government to identify another consultant to complete the National Agenda at the final point of completion. This modification will be negotiated under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 252(c)(1) -- Only OneResponsible Source with Unique Capabilities. This is not a request for quotations.
