R -- ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF ACE SOL N00104-97-R-QB78 POC Lindyll Finley at 717-790-2898 or Sylvia Johnson at 717-790-1548 The Naval ICP Mechanicsburg intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Trident Systems Inc. for engineering and technical services in support of the Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE). This sole source contract will be issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The purpose of this contract is to provide follow-on engineering and technical services in support of the ACE program. The work includes the development of as built documentation, the generation of process definitions and mapping for the facility operations and reconfigurations, as well as the intitial operations of the highly complex one of a kind ACE. Trident Systems Inc. has been involved in the design and development of the ACE facility since its inception. Trident is designing and developing the reconfigurable physical components, custom facility resource control software and the electronic architecture.
