The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC, has a requirement for Solid Waste Disposal Services. The Base period of the contract is anticipated to run from date of award through September 30, 1998, with two (2) one year option periods for renewal. The contractor shall provide the following for the Base period and each option period (should the Government decide to unilaterally award the option periods): Rental of four (4) forty yard self contained compactors for 12 months; rental of one (1) forty yard Open Top Construction, roll-off dumpster for 12 months. Three (3) pulls which consist of pick- up, deliver, empty, and return three (3) thirty yard compactors once a week, for each unit for 52 weeks (156 estimated pulls). One (1) pull once a week on the roll top dumpster for 52 weeks (52 estimated pulls). The estimated tonnage for the contract is thirty -four (34) tons per week for 52 weeks (1,768 estimated tons per contract period). It is anticipated solicitation packages will be mailed out approximately August 11, 1997, with an approximate due date of September 3, 1997.
