Glen Jones Furnish all necessary labor, materials and transportation to perform the service of "Collection and Removal of Garbage/Trash" from both Government owned and Contractor provided receptacles and sale and removal of Clean Corrugated Cardboard from designated areas located at this VA Medical Center, 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Contractor will assume full responsibility for compliance with all Federal, State, County and City laws, rules and regulations governing removal and disposal of waste material and recyclable cardboard. Bidders MUST be licensed in the City of Long Beach, CA to have and/or convey and dispose of trash. All bidders MUST have adequate equipment, facilities, licenses and personnel to perform this service. IFB 600-001-98 will issue O/A August 15, 1997 with bids due 2:00PM, CA local time, September 15, 1997. All requests for IFB 600-001-98 must be in writing and ALL requests MUST show evidence of licensing in City of Long Beach, CA or ability to obtain same. (0212)
