This project will include option work which consists of constructing a 1,300 foot long 2-lane detour road reconstructing the 2-lane Highway 187 on top a new 1,430 foot long section and armoring the reconstructed Highway 187 fill section with about 10,000 cubic yards of armor stone. Approximately 15,000 cubic yards of fill are also required. Work also includes utility relocations, structure demolition and grass establishment. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Invitation DACW17-97-B-0016 will be issued on or about 19 Aug 97 and opened on or about 18 Sept 97.
