This project involves all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and performance of all operations required to perform the Renovation and Repairs to Building 1217, Hanscom AFB MA in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications. The principal items of work include, but are not limited to: demolition of existing ceilings, demolition of the existing HVAC duct system, demolition of the power distribution system, demolition of existing fire suppression system, selective demolition of floor areas where sistering and leveling will occur, installation of a new HVAC system, installation of a new fire suppression system, installation of a new power distribution system, installation of a new suspended ceiling, and repair to the floor areas that were disturbed. There will be an optional bid item for insulation of the joists above the crawlspace. There will be another optional bid item for the contractor to provide four (4) office trailers to the site complete with hook-ups and HVAC. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Each contract line item (CLIN) will have its own period of performance, the total of which will be 150 calendar days. The CLINs may be worked on simultaneously.
