Hymel, Jr. (504) 278-8412 (Site Code DAHA16) THE Louisiana Air National Guard at England Air Park, Alexandria, LA requires the following service: Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, expertise and insurance required to Repair Interior Building 820 and Construct POV Parking. Scope of Work consist of demolition of existing acoustical ceiling tiles and suspension systems, removal of existing florescent lighting fixtures and exit lights, removal of existing carpeting and base cove molding, removal of two existing doors, construction of a new wall, termination of two 3/4" water supply stub ups below finished floor elevation, demolition of concrete masonry unit wall and a window for installation of two exterior doors. New acoustical ceiling tiles and new suspension system will be installed, new florescent fixtures and exit signs will be installed, new carpet, vinyl composite tile and base cove molding will be installed, new wall covering and chair rail molding will be installed. A new exterior door and all associated hardware will be installed, One new HVAC transfer grille will be installed and new ductwork to this grille will be routed. Interior painting of all doors, frames, trim and molding, patching of areas where doors are to be removed, interior room signs will be installed, restrooms will be painted, and addition of a new asphalt parking area. Repair of a section of roof and flashing, to include replacement of approximately 150 SF of built up roof and 40 feet of flashing. Time for completion of the work is 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. The project number is EEEE972042 -- Repair Interior Bldg. 820 & Construct POV parking. This work is to be completed according to the drawings and specifications of this project. Estimated cost of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. A firm-fixed price contract is expected. All inquiries concerning the technical aspects of the drawings and specifications must be submitted in writing either by correspondence or telegram, and must be received at least fifteen (15) days in advance of the bid opening date in order to reply to the inquiry. No telephone requests or fax requests for bid packages will be accepted. All requests for solicitation documents must be accompanied by a non-refundable cashier's check or money order totaling $40.00, made payable to: US Treasury. All requests must be in writing.
