Hymel, Jr. (504) 278-8412 (Site Code DAHA16) The Louisiana Air National Guard at Belle Chasse, La requires the following services: Contractor is to provide all labor, materials, parts, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, expertise and insurance required to Maintain Roof Building 425. Scope of work includes retrofitting a 18750 +/- square foot building standing seam metal roof with a 3 on 12 pitch. The scope also includes all necessary mechanical and electrical work to extend roof vents and exhaust fans. As an additive bid item, a new entrance canopy will be constructed. Time for completion of the work is 180 days from the Notice to Proceed. The project number is RQLH962004- Roof Replacement, Building 425. This work is to be completed according to the drawings and specification of this project. Estimated cost of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. A firm-fixed price contract is expected. All inquiries concerning the technical aspects of the drawings and specifications must be submitted in writing either by correspondence or telegram, and must be received at least fifteen (15) days in advance of the bid opening date in order to reply to the inquiry. No telephone requests or fax requests for bid packages will be accepted.
