Maintain existing check- dam/bridge in use during construction. Excavate for bridge foundations and to construct approaches to creek crossing. Place retaining, and wing walls; riprap; box culverts; and bridge surface. Excavate, prepare subgrade and place base course and asphalt wearing surface for road surfaces from existing road to new bridge. Re-locate communications and utilities as required to construct bridge structure and approaches. Demolish and remove asphalt road and base course to existing check-dam/bridge. Place topsoil and sod. Bonding is required. Project is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. Request for solicitation package must be in writing. Each solicitation package will cost $30.00 in the form of a company check, cashier's check or money order, made payable to U.S. Treasury. This fee is non refundable.
