36 -- LIQUID OXYGEN MOBILE STORAGE TANKS SOL N68335-97-R-0318 DUE 082897 POC Bernice Kephart Code 213BK, (732) 323-2065 NAWCADLKE intends to procure 16 each liquid oxygen mobile storage tanks, Essex P/N 50C-0014-5 or equal, including related technical data, IAW a performance specification. The basic unit is a trailer mounted mobile storage tank for air and ground transport, storage and servicing of liquid oxygen. The tank shall be a complete self-contained, liquid oxygen transport, storage and servicing unit. A preproduction unit is required 120 days after award of the contract. Preproduction tests are required but will be waived for contractors who have performed the required tests and can produce evidence that their equipment has passed the tests. Acceptance tests will be required on each unit. F.O.B. origin, 100% Small Business Set-aside. This procurement will be solicited under Part 13.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items.
