commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a quote is
being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation Number F22600-97-T-4616 is issued as a Request for
Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated document and provision and clauses
are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. This
action is being considered full and open. Contract Line Item 0001 is a
Labmaster Universal measuring system. MFR: Pratt & Whitney, P/N:
U306270, Size 48" X 20" X 15". It is designed for high accuracy ID/OD
gage calibration. Features include computer control, air bearings,
bi-directional probes, constant measuring force and flexible fixturing.
Guaranteed repeatability and operator independent reproducibility with
unmatched speed. It is capable of measuring rings (threaded &
non-threaded), micrometers, snap gages, gage blocks, end standards,
plugs (threaded & non-threaded), dial indicators, dial comparators,
micrometer heads, pin gages, and tapered plugs (threaded &
non-threaded). Includes a current model computer loaded with Mastercal
Pratt & Whitney's windows based measurement and control software which
has predefined application screens for various types of measurements.
Additional equipment includes system manual, lifting brackets
(D10578008), reusable shipping container (306508) and a protective dust
cover.Standard Accessories: U306277 Ruby Tipped Fingers: 1-14"

Training includes SC-TR Factory Set Up & Training (North America)
Includes one (1) day set-up/training, one (1) day Eight (8) hours
training, two (2) students . Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination
with delivery to Chief of Supply, Bldg 4002, Dock #1, Z Street, Keesler
AFB, MS 39534-5350. Delivery shall be made within 40 days after receipt
of award of contract. Inspection and Acceptance shall be made at
destination. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and
will remain in force in any resultant contract: FAR 52.212-1
Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 1995), is incorporated
by reference and applies to this acquisition. and is amended to read,
submit signed and offers to 81 CONS/LGCS, 200 Fifth Street, Room 104,
Keesler AFB, MS 39534-2102, at or before 3:30 P.M. CST, 15 Aug 97.
Offers must be signed and may be submitted on your company letterhead
or stationary, or your standard company quotation forms. Each offeror
shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.213-3 Offer
Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jan 1997) with
its quote. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items
(May 1997) is incorporated by reference and applies to this
acquisition. The Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions
Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug
1996) is incorporated by reference, however for paragraph (b) only the
following clauses apply: 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity (Apr 1984);
52-225-35 Affirmative Action for Special Disabled Vietnam Era Veterans
(Apr 1984); 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; (Apr
1984.) 52.222-37 Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and
Veterans of the Vietnam Era; (Jan 1988) 52.225-3 Buy America Act (Jan
1994) and 52.232-32 Electronic Funds Transfer Funds Transfer Payment
Method. (Aug 1996) The Contractor shall extend to the Government full
coverage of any standard commercial warranty normally offered in a
similar commercial sale. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the
Government's rights with regards to the other terms and conditions of
the contract. In the event of conflict, the terms and conditions of
the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty
period shall begin upon final acceptance of the items listed in the
schedule. This is a DO rated order with a program identification symbol
ofC9E. All questions concerning this RFQ must be submitted in writing,
no telephonic responses will be processed. Questions should be faxed
