Wolfe, (304)285-5883 THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation No. RQ97-025. This procurement is being issued unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3829 with a size standard of 500 employees. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. Furnish to the National Instititute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), 1095 Willowdale Road, Morgantown, WV, the following line items and quantities: (001) Eppendorf Pipetter Repeater or equal -- 7 each; (002) Micropipetors Volume 5-10 -- 8 each; (003) Micropipetors Volume 2-20 -- 8 each; (004) Micropipetors Volume 10-100 -- 5 each; (005) Micropipetors Volume 50-250 -- 5 each, (006) Micropipetors, Volume 100-1000 -- 5 each; (007) Eppendorf Microcentifuge Model 5415C or equal -- 5 each; (008) Carousel Stand for Micropipetors -- 17 each. The Government will evaluate based on F.O.B. Destination (Morgantown, West Virginia) and the requirements at FAR 52.214.21 "Descriptive Literature" apply to referenced brand name products. Information provided must demonstrate products offered are equal or your offer may be rejected. The Government desires delivery of all line items within 2 weeks after award of order. Offers shall state a delivery schedule. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items.
