A -- DECADE COLD X-RAY CONCEPTUAL DESIGN STUDIES POC David Nemerow, Negotiator, (703) 325-6627, Billy Burks, Contracting Officer, (703) 325-6684 The Defense Special Weapons Agency (DSWA) has a requirement for an effort to leverage existing DSWA-funded work and expand upon the conceptual design studies for a Plasma Radiating Source (PRS) on the DECADE advanced X-Ray simulator. The effort will investigate design options, potential radiation outputs, cost projections and risks of deploying a PRS front-end on a single and dual DECADE quad system. Information will be used to complete development of a Central Test Evaluation and Investment Program needs call advanced simulation test capabilities at the DECADE Radiation Test Facility, Arnold Engineering Development Center.
