The Naval Command, Control and Ocean Surveillance Center, RDTE Div., San Diego requires services to conduct geophysical/geotechnical surveys and site assessments, real-time data interpretation, analytical laboratory analysis of soil and water samples, operation of government-owned Site Characterization and Analysis Penetrometer System (SCAPS), troubleshooting and repair of SCAPS sensor and data acquisition equipment. SCAPS is used to obtain real-time subsurface screening of petroleum, oil and lubricants in the field. SCAPS deployments are generally to Navy activities within a 500 mile radius of San Diego. Field operations are also anticipated anywhere within CONUS, Alaska and Hawaii. The period of performance is one base year and four one-year option periods.
