Spector, (703) 607-3444 B-Potential Sources Sought -- The Strategic
Systems Programs office (SSP), Arlington, VA extends an invitation to
industry to provide a review of technology development associated with
submarine launched tactical missiles. This review is being conducted
in support of the SSP Missiles Working Group (MWG) of the Submarine
Payload Systems Oriented Integrated Product Team (SOIPT). The MWG would
like to give Industry the opportunity to provide related briefings on
any IR&D efforts which it believes is relevant to this working group.
The day of August 27th is set aside for companies to provide such
briefings on a first-come, first-serve basis at no cost to the
Government. Each company shall be limited to a thirty minute
presentation, thus limiting the number of participate companies to
sixteen. This session will start at 0800 and end at 1600. The briefing
will be held in the Management Information Center, SSP, 1931 Jefferson
Davis Highway, Arlington, VA 22202-3518. If there are moe interested
companies than can be accommodated, we will consider extending the
session. Please notify Mr. Philip Spector by 19 August, in writing, or
via fax, of your desire to provide a briefing, and a synopsis of your

schedule of briefings and location will be sent to participants prior
to the meeting. Submarine launched tactical missiles and associated
launchers explicitly fall within the purview of the working group. "Out
of the box" technical approaches are welcome. The working group is
charged with evaluating ongoing efforts and recommending to the Payload
SOIPT the relative priorities of these programs, within the Submarine
