The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure on a sole source basis for the Defense Automated Printing Service, Indianapolis, IN from Anacomp, Inc. of Indianapolis, IN maintenance of various Anacomp, Inc. microfiche equipment including Anacomp Microsoft Duplicator Model 2124, Anacomp Microsoft Collator Model 2100, Anacomp Microfiche Duplicator Model 2224, Anacomp Microfiche Collator and Pedestal Model B501, etc. Anacomp, Inc. is the only known source capable of providing the required services. The required services will be provided from 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998. It is anticipated that a new firm fixed price contract and/or modification of an existing contract will be utilized to fulfill the subject requirement. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information received.
