The MAPS/MTRE task will develop a design for a MAPS VME implementation and associated power and mechanical structure which will accomodate inclusion of a MTRE VME implementation. The task will include development of a MAPS VME module and replacement of the current MTRE MK10 Mod2 subsystem in the MIB with a VME subrack assembly which will house both the MAPS and the MTRE VME modules.
