R -- SECRETARY'S AWARD FOR INNOVATIONS IN HEALTH PROMOTIONS AND DISEASE PREVENTION SOL HRSA-97-BHPR-E060926 DUE 081997 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Association of American Medical Colleges, 2450 N Street, N.W., Washington, DC, 20037-1126. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to plan, coordinate and develop outcomes reporting for the 1997/1998 Academic Year program for the Secretary's Award for Innovations in Health Promotions and Disease Prevention. The contractor shall: plan the program, develop and implement methodology to broaden program participation, produce and mail all competition materials, develop outcomes reports, respond to national inquiries, provide technical assistance, coordinate the logistics and travel/lodging arrangements for the ceremony, edit and prepare papers, and prepare periodic and final progress reports. The Association of American Medical Colleges is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
