REQUEST FOR EXPLOSIVES DETECTION INFORMATION Sandia National Laboratories, Albuquerque, New Mexico, with funding from the National Institute of Justice through the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center, Rocky Mountain Region, is producing a document to give a comprehensive overview of currently available explosives detection equipment and technologies in terms that will be useful to a wide range of law enforcement agencies. Included will be information on trace detection, x-ray based systems, personnel screening portals, and other novel techniques for explosives detection. Currently, Sandia is soliciting information from companies interested in having their products or technology included in this document. Please limit your response to only those products or technologies that are presently or will be available within six months.
