(310) 725-7543 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific Region, under the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) hereby announces its intention to contract janitorial services for approximately 141,300 square feet of space at the Oakland Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) and the Child Care Center, 5125 Central Avenue, Fremont, California 94536. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform and maintain all work required in accordance with the Work Schedule, Special Provisions, and Specifications. Services are required from 10/01/97 through 9/30/98 with 4 additional option years. The estimated dollar range for the procurement of the base year is between $1.0 million to $4.0 million. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 7349. It is anticipated that Request for Offer DTFA08-98-R-11304 will be issued on 08/18/97. Responses will be due approximately 14 days after date of issuance. This procurement is set-asidefor 8(a) Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB). NOTE: All transactions on the resultant contract, from beginning to end will be between the Federal Aviation Administration and the successful Contractor. This resultant contract will not be between the Federal Aviation Administration and the U.S. Small Business Administration. TRI-PARTI AGREEMENTS ARE NOT APPLICBLE ON THE RESULTANT CONTRACT.
