The Fleet Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia, intends to acquire non-personal Food Services to be performed at the Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL, and the Naval Technical Training Center, Corry Station, Pensacola, FL., for the Base Period of Performance 1 October 1997, or date of contract award, whichever is the later, through 30 September 1998, with two, 12 month Option Periods of Performance, for a total contract performance period not to exceed 36 months if all options are exercised. This period reflects the Government's minimum needs. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated for this requirement. This acquisition has been offered for competition to the Small Business Administration, and is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. Eligibility to participate in this requirement may be restricted to firms in either the developmental or transitional stage.
