Valdez (303) 236-5900 ext 424 U.S. Geological Survey requires a
fixed-wing aeromagnetic survey in and near the Isleta Indian
Reservation and the Kirtland AFB/Sandia National Laboratory areas,
Bernalillo, Valencia, and Torrance counties, New Mexico to provide
digitally recorded and processed aeromagnetic data. The estimated
traverse miles is as follows: 1) Area 1, Isleta Indian Reservation,
3985 traverse miles (6415 km); 2) Area 2, Kirtland AFB -- Sandia
National Labs, 755 traverse miles (1215 km); 3) Area 3, Isleta
Addition, 385 traverse miles (620 km); 4) Optional "add-on" flight
lines, not to exceed 1,000 miles (1610 km). The USGS anticipates
awarding a minimum of 3,985 traverse miles for Item No. One pending
availability of funds, Items two and three may also be selected.
Optional add-one traverse lines may be awarded at the time of contract
award or later upon issuance of a modification, or they may not be
awarded at all. Flight operations shall begin within forty-five (45)
calendar days following the date of the contractor's award of the
contract and be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from the date
of the contractor's award of the contract. The contractor shall provide
all drafts, make all required corrections and submit all final
deliverables within one-hundred fifty (150) calendar days after
