Gray, Contracting Officer, 901/577-7341 Contract will be awarded for one year beginning 10/1/97 through 9/30/98 with two 1-year options to extend. Contractor is to provide medical emergency ambulance service to transport veterans to clinic visits, nursing home placements, special procedures, discharge home as well as transfers to other VA facilities. This contract will consist of approximately 750 trips and 8,800 miles. Contractor must provide the necessary license and insurance to carry-out this contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the government. Requests for bid document must be in writing and bid will be issued o/a 8/18/97 and bid opening will be o/a 9/8/97. Subject to the availability of FY 98 funds. SIC is 8099. (0212)
