of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Kansas City, MO is soliciting a
contractor to provide all tools, labor and material necessary for
removal/replacement of AST/UST. SUMMARY OF WORK: Site #1: includes the
removal of one 550 gal.gasoline AST with dispenser and concrete
containment, and the installation of one 500 gal. diesel AST and one
500 gal. gasoline AST. Both of the new tanks will be double-walled with
2-hour fire rating (U.L.2085) with factory installed dispenser package;
Site #2: includes the removal of one 30,000 gal.fuel oil UST; Site #3:
includes the installation of new concrete containment for two 30,000
gal. fuel oil AST's including piping modifications and removal and
replacement of coating on exterior of tanks; Site #4: includes upgrade
of one 100 gal. diesel AST. Upgrades include the installation of
secondary containment requiring modifications to associated piping and
venting; Site #5: includes upgrade of one 300 gal. diesel AST.
Modifications will be made to vent piping; Site #6: includes upgrade of
one 265 gal. diesel AST and one 100 gal. diesel AST. Upgrades include
the installation of secondary containment requiring modifications to
associated piping and venting; Site #7: includes the removal of one
2,500 gal. diesel UST, installation of one 1,500 gal. AST with
double-wall and 2-hour fire rating (U.L.2085), and upgrade of one 85
gal. diesel AST. Upgrades include the installation of secondary
containment requiring modifications to associated piping and venting;
Site #8: includes the removal of one 550 gal. diesel UST, installation
of one 500 gal. diesel AST with double-wall and 2-hour fire rating
(U.L.2085), and upgrade of one 60 gal. diesel AST. upgrades include the
installation of secondary containment requiring modifications to
associated piping and venting. Duration of work is 240 calendar days
after NTP is issued and is estimated to be in the $250,000 - $500,000
range. This project is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. SIC code is
1799. Small Business size standard is $7.0 million. Interested firms
