This announcement constitues the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solication document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 46. The SIC code is 3571 and the samll business size standard is 1000 employees. ITEM 1: Service, material, and labor to provide, install, and train personnel on a continuous natural speech (not a discrete) dictation system. This system allows health care professionals to dictate clinical reports directly into a personal computer using continuous natural speech at a rate of 120 to 160 words per minute. This dictation system will operate on a WindowsNT/Windows 95 operating system and is designed for a network environment. The system consists of license for 10 users, 9 contexts for Internal Medicine and 1 context for Compensation and Pension Evaluation, includes front ends for each station, and noise cancelling microphones; transcription kits for three correctionists; precustomization for each user, and three adaptations for each user. ITEM 2: Service, material and labor to provide, install, and train personnel on forms-based voice documentation system to operate on five Windows 95 workstations. Allows healthcare personnel to make their own forms electronically interactive, including data entry and navigation by voice, as an option. Both systems include one-year maintenance; travel expenses for pesonnel to train and install; and includes any upgrades which become available within 90 days of installation. (0216)
