The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) hereby amends its notice of intent that was published in the July 10, 1997, edition of the Commerce Business Daily to delete the requirement for negotiation of a sole source modification with Wang Federal, Inc. to provide Year 2000 compliancy of the NRC Operations Center Information Management System (OCIMS) and associated technical support under Contract No. NRC-10-93-133. However, the NRC does intend to negotiate on a sole source basis a modification with Wang Federal, Inc. under Contract No. NRC-10-93-133 to link the Operations Center's satellite dish tuner into the Agency's broadband system. It is essential that the incumbent provide the required equipment and services as Wang Federal, Inc. has engineered, integrated, installed, tested, cutover, and made operational the system and subsystems for the Operations Center.
