Postal Service has prequalified four companies to compete for a contract to act as a distribution agent in El Salvador. The companies are: Direccion General de Correos, Banco Agricola Comercial de El Salvador, Banco Cuscatlan and Banco de Comercio de El Salvador. The awarded contractor(s) will be responsible for disbursement of funds transferred from the United States to El Salvador as part of the Sure Money program. Each company has a minimum of 30 distributin sites in El Salvador. The contractor(s)will be required to disburse funds within 15 minutes from the time the transaction is iniated in the United States.
