(1997) The following notification is being circulated in accordance
with Article 10.6. G/TBT/Notif.97.378. 1. Member to Agreement

74th Announcement of the Committee on Label, B.E. 2540 (1997), 1 page.
6. Description of content: This Regulation is an amendment to the 32nd
Announcement of the Committee on Label B.E. 2529 (1986) which requires
the labelling of refrigerators to be sold in Thailand to contain the
following information: name and address of manufacturer/entrepreneur,
or name and address in Thailand of importer/entrepreneur or registered
trade mark: country of manufacture; manufacturing lot number or code;
inner volume in cubic decimetre or cubic feet; type and weight of the
refrigerants; rated voltage, rated frequency and rated current; wiring
diagram; warning statement on prohibition against usage of sharp
materials in removing ice in the frozen food storage compartments or
against spillage. The detail of the amendment is the addition of the
energy efficiency symbol established by the Electricity Generating
Authority of Thailand (if any) and the requirement for displaying the
label on the interior or exterior of the refrigerator whichever is the
