This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation Number: F44600-97-Q0675. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The following line items require only exterior corrosion control with a complete paint job: 0002, 0003, 0004 0006 0007 0011, 0012, and 0014. The following line items require corrosion control, and a complete interior and exterior paint job: 0008, 0009, and 0010. (vii) Government will pick-up and drop-off vehicles within 50 miles of Langley AFB, VA. If more than 50 miles from Langley AFB, VA, the Offeror will be responsible for delivery. (viii) The provision at FAR 52.121-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.121-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Apply paint to vehicles utilizing chemical agent resisting coating (CARC) to present a flat appearance. (2) Have ready five vehicles per five working for Government pick-up or delivery. (x) All offerors are advised to include a annotated copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications Commercial Items, with your offer. (xi) FAR clause 52.121-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (xii) FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial items, apllies to this acquisition. (xiii) Offerors will use Government furnished paint and must give a one year warranty on all work. (xiv) The Defense Priorities and Allocation System is not applicable to this acqusition.
