MONMOUNTH, NJ SOL DACA51-97-B-0042 DUE 091597 POC Ms. Mabel Thompson, Contract Specialist, by FAX ONLY, (212) 264-3013 The work includes provisions for labor, material and equipment for demolition removal and disposal of the sewage treatment plant, buildings #9049 and #9359 and incidental components in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local regulations and requirements. The work will include backfilling, grading, seeding and restoraation of all areas disturbed. Work will include complete demolition, debris removal, proper disposal of control building, under- ground storage tank, non-PCB Pad mounted transformer, primary clarifier, bio- filter, primary digestor, secondary disgestor, sludge drying bed. In addition to the main items listed above all walkways, manholes, headwalls, piping, pumps, UST, electrical items, holding tanks, chlorination tank, concrete pads will be included as part of demolition work. All items will either be totally removed, or to a depth of 5 feet below grade. All tanks and manhole cavities will be backfilled, pipes buried deeper than 5 feet will be capped and abandoned in place. The demolition work will consist of removal, and disposal of the two (2) buildings. All wood/metal/masonry structures, concrete slabs, foundations, footings, piping and fittings inside the buildings will be demolished and removed. All demolished material will be properly transported off-site for proper disposal. Estimated Construction Cost: $500,000.00 to $2,000,000.00 Days for Completion of all work: 180 calendar days.
