Y -- HEATHER LAKE LOOP TRAIL CONSTRUCTION, DARRINGTON RANGER DISTRICT, SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA SOL RFQ R6-MBS-7-66-M POC Contact Point, Janet Hada, 425/744-3338 This project involves the construction of an approximate 1.6 km loop trail around Heather Lake and approximate 150 meters of relocation along the Heather Lake Trail #701. Works includes but is not limited to trail clearing, grubbing, excavation, installation of culverts; turnpikes; puncheon walkways; footlog bridges; parallel ditches; leadoff ditches and trail surfacing. Several Sections of trail excavation cross talus slopes and will require use of rock drills and explosives for construction. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about August 18, 1997. Contract time for this project is approximately 360 days. The Government's estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Payment security will be required on this project. (0216)
