Removal and disposition of existing roofing (and related deteriorated sheet metal work and carpentry items) including mineral surfaced selvage edige roll roofing, mineral surface asphalt strip shingle roofing, mineral surface fiberglass strip shingle roofing, built-up roofing, clay tile roofing, EPDM roofing, standing seam metal roofing, and sheet metal roofing, replacement of these types of roofing with the same types of roofing as applicable or with fiberglass strip-shingles and rolled roofing where designated. Repair and/or replacement of existing deteriorated wood fascia, roof framing, roof sheathing and decking, steel roof deck and othe items of carpentry work used in conjunction with roofing andall work incidental thereto; all in accordance with these specifications. b. Painting of surfaces of new mateials installed by the contractor as repair and replacement, and all work incidental thereto.
