Construct a perimeter security fence, perimeter lighting, a vehicle barrier, a 20 foot wide all-weather road and a diesel generator to supply power to the lighting. The project also includes a 14,000 SF addition to the south end of the existing building consisting of Office Area, SCIF, Entry Lobby, Corridor to existing JTF-6 Facility and shell of Meeting Center. Two phased options consisting of: 1) One-Half large Meeting Room with Operable Partition, Janitor room, Telephone Room, Storage, Restrooms, and Half of Pre-Function Lobby. 2) Second Half of Large Meeting Room, Remaining Half of Pre-Function Lobby, Kitchen and Kitchen Storage, Projection and A-V Room and Storage. The project will also include removal of security bars and replacement of windows, modifications to the basement equipment room, and a new generator. Estimated Value: $1,000,000 -- $5,000,000. Bids from large business firms must comply with FAR clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a subcontracting plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: 55% with small business; 8.5% with small disadvantaged business, 3% with women-owned small business, and 5.5% with Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs).
