The ACC Contracting Squadron intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) for the Advanced Simulation Interface Buffer (ASIB) Items to include: Pentium Pro 200MHz, 32 MB RAM, 3.5" floppy drive, 6X CD-ROM, 1 GB Hard Drive, AWACS Radar Interface Card, AWACS IFF Interface Card, AWACS Navigation Interface Card, 17" SVGA Color Monitor; and Software to Include: Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, ASCOT Interface software with users manual, DIS Interface software with users manual, CD-2 Interface software with users manual, and E-3 Radar/IFF NAV software model; quantity of one (1) each of all items. The system must have ability to interface with the Airspace Control Operations Trainer (ASCOT), FAA CD-2 compliant communications equipment, Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) compliant computer equipment, and the AWACS Mission Simulator. The ASIB is based on COTS computer equipment. The host system will be a desktop PC system with custom interfaces capable of providing and receiving sensor data directly into and out of the Airborne Operational Computer Program via the Control Power Supply of the AWACS Mission Simulator. Delivery will be to Tinker AFB, OK before 30 September 1997. Brand Name or Equal is authorized. This requirement must meet Year 2000 requirements!
