Contrary to a statement in the May 8 announcement, this procurement will NOT be 100% set-aside for small businesses. HUD will require the services of a contractor to collect basic data on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects placed in service from 1995 -- 1999. The Contractor would be required to update the LIHTC database to aid analysis of LIHTC projects and serve as a sampling frame for further research by HUD and others. The contract will have a base period of one year and HUD will have the option to extend the period for three additional years. The solicitation will be issued on or about August 21, 1997. Interested parties may submit a written request for a copy of the solicitation from HUD's Internet Home Page. Those parties who requested a copy of the solicitation in response to the May 8 announcement need not submit an additional request. HUD posts all required notices of its contracting opportunities on its Internet Home Page at http://www.hud.gov/cts/ctsoprty.html. Potential offerors who download copies solicitations from HUD's Home Page will NOT automatically receive any amendments to those solicitations.
