The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a nonpersonal service contract to the qualified individual or business capable of providing medical assistant services at the Federal Correctional Institution, Estill, South Carolina. Services include but are not limited to: scheduling sick call appointments, filing medical records and reports and assisting with monthly billing statements. The contract period will be from date of award through September 30, 1998, with four, one year option periods for renewal. This is a nonpersonal service, not to exceed 30 hours per week, and not a personal appointment. The services will be provided in a six (6) hour session with an estimated 260 sessions per year (one session per day, five days per week, 52 weeks per year). The anticipated issue date of solicitations is August 22, 1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers due by September 4, 1997.
