The Center for Mental Health Services, SAMHSA, through the Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch intends to award a sole source contract to The National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors, for synthesis and implementation of service delivery model for persons with co-occuring mental health and substance abuse disorders in the public sector that is accepted by State Mental Health Authorities. The work will be coordinated with The National Association of State Alcohol and Substance Abuse Directors. The synthesis activity will focus on developing model components and will only address epidemiological, diagnostic, psychopathological and ethnographic issues to the extent they are necessary to provide context and/or background to the service system models.
