R -- DEVELOP SOFTWARE FOR NUTRITION & PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ASSESSMENT TOOL SOL HRSA-97-MCHB-H0820A DUE 082297 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the San Diego State University Foundation, 5250 Campanile Drive, San Diego, CA, 92182-1931. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to develop computer software for the nutrition and physical activity assessment tools which primary care providers can use to promote physical activity and healthy eating among their adolescent patients. The contractor shall: design the adolescent multimedia assessment tool, develop a survey to evaluate the use, conduct user testing, develop a graphical interface and supporting text for the assessment tool, and revise the tool as necessary. The San Diego State University Foundation is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is one year.
