Project #1 to include sawcutting of asphalt (330 ln ft); excavation for (1) an infiltration trench (150 cu yd) and (2) the parking and swell areas (3,050 cu yd) with materials to be hauled by a separate contractor; placement of an embankment for the berm (30 cu yd); furnishing and pacing sandfill and graded stone backfill (150 cu yd); furnishing and placing geotextile fabric (260 sq yd); placing and compacting (1) subbase material (870 cu yd) and (2) base course material (600 cu yd) with materials to be supplied under a separate contract; furnishing and placing asphalt surfacing for the parking lot (5,280 sq yd); furnishing and installing concrete for curbs and gutters (8.5 cu yd). Project #2 to include preparation, furnishing, compacting, and placing hot bituminous asphalt surfacing for the parking lot (2,860 sq yd). Option project (#3) to include preparation, furnishing, compacting, and placing hot bituminous asphalt surfacing for the parking lot (1,840 sq yd). Work subject to Davis-Bacon wage rates. Payment protection required. Work shall take place at 3833 S. Development Avenue and is anticipated to begin October 1997. Procurement is a 100% emerging small business set-aside and only written quotes will be accepted. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for the award. The anticipated award date is September 29, 1997.
