is soliciting bids for the purchase of one (1) each new 33,000 pound
GVWR Track Maintenance Truck as specified for use at the Bi-State
Development Agency Transit System. The technical specifications cover
the requirements for a truck, which may be used on both suburban
expressways and urban aerterial streets. All parts, items or features
not specifically furnished to provide a complete vehicle shall be
furnished by the successful Bidder at the bid price and shall conform
in quality of material and workmanship to that usually provided by
industry standards and in accordance with specifications outlined in
ML-97-SB-2290. Copies of the specifications may be obtained at the
office of the Agency's MetroLink Contracts & Procurement Department.

Agency reserves the right to accept any bid or any part or parts
thereof or to reject any and all bids. Acceptance of any bid is subject
to cncurrence by the United States Department of Transportation. Any
contract resulting from bids are subject to financial assistance
between the Agency and the United States Department of Transportation.
