Kay, Contracting Officer The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to negotiate a sole source contract with ANS for services to provide internet services (at a rate of 1.54 mbits/sec), shall provide a 7/24 hour manned (NOC) to diagnose problems/fix network outages. Shall initiate corrective measures within 2 hours of the initial call. Provide an ethernet interface (10Base-T) and must exchange routing information via the border gateway protocol (version 4). Current premise router is a cisco 4500 running 10s 10.3,. Shall preserve the autonomous systems (AS) path. MUST PROVIDE A T3 (45 MBITS/SEC) POINT-OF-PRESENCE ON OAHU, HAWAII in order to assure a congestion free service. Provide weekly traffic reports showing link utilization (both inbound and outbound) as a function of time. Report be provided electronically and delivered via email. Period of performance 10-01-97 thru 9-30-98. Early installation of circuits and customer premise equipment is strongly recommended. No other source will satisfy the activity's requirement.
