USAID/REDSO/ESA requires for its Horn of Africa Support Project Hewlett Packard brand Servers, PC Workstations, Color Scanners, Color Printers, Laser Printers and Notebooks as well as Uninterruptable Power Supplies, LCD Projector, Miscellaneous Computer Spare Parts, Software and Network Interface Cards. All offers for computer equipment and accessories shall be of 220v 50 Hz with French plugs. Delivery basis shall be C.I.F. Djibouti via air freight. All Hewlett Packard Hardware offers shall be accompanied by the Manufacturers International Warranty that shall be honored by the Hewlett Packard authorized/representative and/or dealer in Djibouti along with a letter from said representative/dealer to provide warranty coverage. All other equipment shall be accompanied by the Manufacturer's Standard International Warranty with a list of the agents/representatives/dealers who will honor such warranty. Only FAX, EMail or letter requests will be accepted. These requests shall be accompanied by four mailing labels, name of contact person, telephone and fax numbers and an EMail address if available. If you wish to receive a copy via courier you arrange to have the courier service pick up the document for your account. The following courier services are available in Nairobi: Skynet, DHL, FEDEX, UPS and TNT. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5" floppy disk (WordPerfect 5.1/5.2 format). The RFP can also be downloaded via Anonymous File Transfer Protocol (FTP). The FTP address is FTP.INFO.USAID.GOV. Log on using the user identification of "anonymous" and the password is your e-mail address. Look under the following directory for the RFP: pub/OP/RFP/62397P011/62397p011.rfp. Insert the file name of the RFP including the file extension. Receipt of this RFP through INTERNET must be confirmed by written notification to the contact person noted above.
