The baseline for this requirement will be Fibertek's unique laboratory breadboard laser-diode-pumped solid state (Nd:Host) laser radar sensor system. The requirement will be for Fibertek, Inc. to reduce the weight of this system by a factor of two (5 kg total for the transmitter, receiver and thermal battery) and package it for integration into the interceptor for testing.
