COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 8,1997 PSA#1905A&E SERVICES WITH EMPHASIS ON MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING The
purpose of this synopsis is to modify a synopsis previously posted on
May 6, 1997, by the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST) in the "Commerce Business Daily". The synopsis advertised NIST's
requirement to provide architect and engineering services with an
emphasis on mechanical and electrical engineering. The Government now
expects to award multiple contracts in response to this synopsis. It is
expected that the minimum dollar value of each
indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract will be $5,000
per year and the maximum amount will be $500,000 per year. The period
of performance is anticipated to be one (1) base year with three (3)
one-year options. Accordingly, should any additional firms be
interested in this requirement, they should submit completed Forms 254
and 255, U.S. Government Architect-Engineering Qualifications, by 3:00
pm EST, August 10, 1997, to the attention of Verron Brade, NIST,
Acquisition and Assistance Division, Building 301, Room B117,
Gaithersburg, MD 20899. Those firms having previously submitted the
qualification forms need not respond to this special announcement as
their information will be considered as submitted. However, any
modifications to the previously submitted qualification forms may be
submitted by 3:00 pm EST, August 10, 1997. WEB: NIST Contracts
