Z -- REMOVE AND REPLACE OVERHEAD HOIST #35, BUILDING 311 SOL N62474-97-Q-1096 DUE 090897 POC Jeffrey Colet, Purchasing Agent, (805) 989-1464 -- Patricia Martonick, Contracting Officer The contractor shall be responsible to provide all labor, materials and equipment to remove and replace one 5 ton capacity electrical wire rope hoist/trolley/electrical system at building 311. The electrical system shall include infinitely variable speed drives in one separate panel that shall contain the main line contact and controls for the entire system. The contractor shall demo the existing buss rail on the bridge and the entire length of the runway and shall include the demo of the existing collectors on both the bridge and the runway. The contractor shall inspect the entire bridge and runway structure and replace any damaged or missing bolts with structural grade bolts for overhead cranes. The contractor shall also check to see that all bolts and nuts are tightend to the proper torque ratings for structural grade bolts, straighten runway joints and weld joints on the bottom web. Install new electric hoist with motor driven trolley, geared upper and lower limits, overload protection and push button station. Estimated price for this project is less than $50,000. The standard industrial classification (SIC)is 1731. The small business size standard is $7.0 million. The site visit date is scheduled for Thursday, August 28th, 1997 at 0800.
