J -- PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE/REPAIR OF ELEVATORS, CARTLIFTS AND DUMBWAITERS SOL IFB 609-02-98 DUE 091997 POC Mary Bird, Contracting Officer (618)993-4175 Five VISN 15 Network Medical Centers are seeking qualified, responsible firms with the necessary resources and technical expertise to provide for the repair and preventive maintenance of elevators, cartlifts and dumbwaiters as required to maintain the equipment in accordance with various manufacturer's original specifications. The following medical centers are participating in this solicitation and will require services: Missouri -- John J. Pershing VA Medical Center, Poplar Bluff. Kansas -- Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center, Leavenworth; Colmery-O'Neal VA Medical Center, Topeka; VA Medical Center, Wichita. Illinois -- VA Medical Center, Marion. A one year contract for the period 10/1/97 through 9/30/98 with options to renew for 4 additional years is anticipated. The Government reserves the right to award multiple contracts resulting from this solicitation. SIC 1796.
