Dean, 301/443-4460 The Food and Drug Administration has a requirement for the disposal of low level radioactive waste and mixed waste for the FDA research laboratories in Washington D.C., Summit-Argo, ILL and in Dauphin Island, Alabama Areas. The proposed contract will be for a one-year period of performance, with four one-year option periods. The disposal services must be provided according to all applicable federal and state regulations governing the packaging, transporting, processing, and disposal of radioactive and mixed waste.
