The second sub-project replaces acoustical ceiling tile with gyp-board, replaces VCT flooring with sheet vinyl, replaces ranges and install hood w/fire suppression system, install dishwashers and additional cabinetry, and miscellaneous carpentry work. The third sub-project has insulation of HVAC ducts in 16 units and insulation of water pipes in 150 units. The fourth sub-project consists of exterior repair to 150 units as follows: Remove patio covers and damaged patio slabs, remove all guttering on house and carport and replace with prefinished aluminum guttering; enlarge patio slabs; construct new shed roofs over the patio slabs. The fifth sub-project has exterior repairs and painting to 98 units as follows: repair all exterior surfaces by mechanical preparation, clean exterior surfaces, and replace deteriorated exterior components where needed. Paint exterior surfaces by priming bare wood or metal and by applying two finish coats of exterior latex paint. Solicitation will be issued on or about 22 August 1997.
